Is Morocco safe?

Yes, Morocco is generally a very safe destination for tourists. The popular spots are well protected by police and private security, just beware of fake guides and pickpockets. Solo female travellers need to take the usual precautions and dress modestly to avoid unwanted attention.


What is Morocco’s weather like?

You will find that the weather in Morocco is pleasant year-round. During the early winter and spring months of January-April, days are typically sunny and quite warm and cooler in the evenings. Summers are hot and dry with temperatures picking up in May, with the hottest in July and August, before cooling off again until the end of September. You will enjoy cooler temperatures during October and November. There is very little rainfall throughout the year in Morocco.


What is included?

All your meals, accommodation and transport will be covered during your journey with us, including airport transfers from and to Marrakech airport (provided these occur on the scheduled first and last of the trip).

Additionally, we have an experiential itinerary designed where you’ll be getting hands-on with artisans, touring special places, delighting in the wisdom from accompanying guides and much more. What is not included?

We do not include airfare nor facilitate airfare booking. On the first day of the trip, we provide dinner, but if you arrive earlier, you will have to cover those expenses. Likewise, on the last day of the trip, we provide breakfast, but if you depart later, you will have to cover those expenses.

We do not cover other items getting to Morocco like passport and/or visa fees, Covid-19 test if applicable, insurance packages, vaccinations etc… We do not cover such in-country costs like items you want to buy or alcohol. How many people travel together?

We allow a capacity of up to 13 travellers (trips range from 8-13 travellers due to some travellers booking a private single room) in addition to the majestic disorder travels team, unless stated otherwise on the trip’s itinerary. We create an inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy the experiences designed and embrace the journey together.


How does group travel work?

Our travellers come from all walks of life from all over the globe. Despite this diverse background, you will find the group you are travelling with is very much a like-minded community with many shared interests, passions and careers. If you’re a solo traveller who does not want to travel solo, you will find a very interesting group of people to travel with on our trips.

At each of our accommodations, rooms can be configured to two beds or one bed. Solo travellers will be paired with another solo traveller of the same gender. The option of booking a private single room where you are the only one staying in the room throughout the trip is available with a supplementary cost, whilst supplies last.


How do I reserve a spot?

In order to reserve a spot, we need an initial deposit, per person, which is 40% of the trip’s cost, if the booking is made at least 46 days prior to the trip’s starting date. Those booking within 45 days of the trip’s starting date, the entire trip’s cost is due upon booking, per person.

Split payments is available to those booking at least a month and a half prior to the trip’s starting date with 40% due up front and the balance due 45 days prior to the trip’s starting date. If an overdue balance occurs, your spot is no longer guaranteed to be reserved. Refer to Section 2 and 4 of our Booking Terms and Conditions.


How do I book a single room?

Single rooms where you are the only one staying in the room throughout the trip is available whilst supplies last. To book a single room, we need an initial deposit, which is 40% of the single room trip’s cost if the booking is made 61 days prior to the trip’s starting date. Those booking within 60 days of the trip’s starting date, the entire single room trip cost is due upon booking.

What if I cancel?

We’ll be disheartened you cannot join us on this journey, but we know how life goes.

Do I need travel insurance?

Obtaining travel insurance is compulsory; this ensures peace of mind and it’s there to support should you encounter any unforeseen incidents during your trip. A policy package, per your discretion, could cover such incidentals as personal injury, property damage, flight cancellation, loss of luggage, personal effects, medical expenses, death, repatriation, emergency evacuation, personal liability, etc…


Do I need a visa?

A passport that is valid for a minimum three months beyond your stay will be required. Visas are the responsibility of the individual traveller, however approximately 70 countries are visa-free for travelling to Morocco for a duration of up to 90 days. Consult your local embassy for current information.

I’m booked, now what?

We’ll be sending you a detailed itinerary with our daily schedule, more information on Morocco and our journey together. We’ll have this sent via email after we’ve received full payment and about a month away from the trip. We cannot wait to see you there!


What is Morocco’s Covid-19 policy?

With a successfully rapid vaccine rollout, Morocco’s travel and entry requirements make travel as normal as possible. As public policy and health guidelines regarding Covid-19 is fluid, we’ll update travellers on any changes.
